Horse Guided Adventures

6 Week Youth Program

Learning Life’s Essentials Through Connection with Horses

In the gentle world of our ‘Horse-Guided Adventures Program,’ we recognise the deep bond between youth and horses as a gateway to nurturing essential life skills. Our program is designed to draw upon this unique connection, providing children with the opportunity to develop confidence, empathy, and self-awareness.

Through carefully crafted ground-based activities and interactions with our horse herd, participants embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

This transformative experience takes place over six weeks, with each week offering one hour of  one-on-one exploration, learning, and connection.

Boundaries

Through connecting with horses, youth learn the art of setting healthy boundaries – an essential skill in building confidence and positive relationships. As they observe how horses communicate their personal space, kids gain insights into asserting their own needs and boundaries.

Horses, with their sensitivity to their surroundings and energy, help youth develop self-awareness by guiding them to recognise their own emotions, body language, and responses. This helps children better understand themselves and how they relate to the world around them.

Facing Challenges

Guided by the resilience of horses, children learn that challenges are opportunities for growth. Engaging in activities that require cooperation with their equine companions, youth can build confidence, determination, and a positive approach to tackling obstacles.

As we guide children through this remarkable journey, they learn to communicate effectively, establish trust-based relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of both themselves and the world around them. This experiential learning approach not only encourages emotional intelligence but also imparts valuable problem-solving and leadership skills.

Join us on a journey where horses illuminate the path to lifelong skills and unforgettable adventures.
